Turkey Apple Patties with Kale


Ingredients

  • Patties

    • ¾ lb ground turkey

    • ½ apple, diced

    • ½ tsp garlic powder

    • ½ tsp dried sage

    • ½ tsp paprika powder

    • salt and ground black pepper

    • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Kale Salad

    • 3 oz. kale, chopped or baby spinach

    • 2 tsp cider vinegar

    • 1 tbsp chia seeds

    • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds

    • 1 tbsp olive oil

Yields: 2 servings


Instructions

  1. Mix the turkey meat, apples, and spices in a bowl. Form into patties, two per serving.

  2. Fry the patties in a skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side, on medium-high heat until cooked through.

  3. While the patties are cooking, mix the greens, seeds, vinegar, and olive oil in a bowl.

  4. Serve patties with the salad on the side.
