When Venise's doctor informed her that her heart was showing negative results and she was out of breath more often, she knew she needed to improve her health and lifestyle. She started looking for a group where she could connect with other women going through similar struggles and found The New Beginnings Center.
Venise's goal wasn't to lose weight, but to feel healthier, stronger, and be able to do more. Throughout the program, Venise was able to workout 2-5 times per week with a personalized plan, a nutrition plan made specifically for her body, and a coach who was with her every step of the way.
After she completed the 12-week program in 2018, her blood sugar improved, she started feeling better and experiencing less pain. By 2019, Venise was able to come off her prescription pain medication for the first time in years!
